The theme unfolds around the colors, the rarity, the beauty of these birds and also the rich mythology generated from them, creating stories, tales, legends and songs.
The pieces are developed based on the work and skill of the approximately 2000 artisans from the family farm members of productivegroups supported by the this government program, which includes manufacturing techniques passed down from generation to generation and works with the natural raw material, removal of Brazilian biodiversity sustainable manner.
Among the materials used are sheep's wool, horsehair, jute fibers, vines, tururi of Muaná, besides the traditional embroideries and crochets of Minas Gerais and Piauí, among others.
Talentos do Brasil Program was created in 2005, aims to promote the generation of employment and income-based fashion craft activity, organized in rural communities, focusing on sustainable empowerment with social, cultural, economic and environmental Responsibility.
Currently, the program unites artisans and craftsmen from rural communities in 12 Brazilian states, organized into 15 cooperatives, which together form the Coperativa Nacional Marca Única (National Cooperative Single Brand) - Cooperunica. The cooperative sells today a portfolio of more than 1500 products.
For this edition the artisans are from states of Amazonas, Minas Gerais , Rio Grande do Sul (Pure Wool), Pará (Tururi of Muaná) and Piauí (Lace and Embroidery Parnaíba).
